In his debut solo exhibition titled “Visible Spectrum,” Alfredo del Razo invites us on a journey through the mesmerizing world of color, form, and imagination.
As an architect by profession and a graduate of the Iberoamerican University, Alfredo delves into the realm of art, exploring a plethora of materials such as watercolor, ink, markers, acrylic paint, dry pastels, and spray paint. His artworks, adorned with countless textures and hues, resonate with the perpetual undulations found within the electromagnetic spectrum.
Inspired by abstract art movements that emerged in the early 20th century, Alfredo’s creations evoke a sense of boundless creativity and interpretation. Just as artists like Rothko, Miró, Picasso, and Kandinsky challenged conventional artistic norms, Alfredo invites viewers to embark on a journey of self-discovery through his non-representational compositions.
“The objects damage the images,” as Kandinsky famously stated, emphasizing the subjective nature of art interpretation. In “Visible Spectrum,” Alfredo’s works transcend the confines of recognizable forms, encouraging viewers to explore their own perceptions and meanings within the vibrant tapestry of colors and shapes.
Experience the vivid spectrum of Alfredo del Razo’s artistry and immerse yourself in a world where imagination knows no bounds.
